Beach Waves Without the Beach
When I was at work last week I complemented a co-worker on her beautiful curls and told her how I wish my hair dried naturally like hers. She then told me a little secret.
“Don't tell anyone, but I use a waver on my hair!”
I had never heard of a waver before and was not optimistic that it would work, but my co-worker’s hair looked so good that I had to try it out. So, I ordered the Hot Tools “Deep Waver” for 39.99 online and waited for it to arrive. The results? Surprisingly, it worked pretty darn well!
The best way to use it is to start with Taya’s Copaiba Resin Advanced Blend Liquid Volume Builder and run it through your hair. Then, after the iron has heat up start halfway down the length of your hair putting about an inch wide of hair into the waver and press. After you release the iron, do the same thing over again about an inch from where you did the last section. When you’re done, gently break up the waves with your fingers, but don’t use a brush! Brushing will create frizz and cause you to lose the natural beachy waves effect. Finish with Taya’s Kinwa Instant Styler spray and enjoy your summer waves.
